Lasten Suuri Lelukirja is the best-known toy catalogue in Finland!

According to a survey conducted in December 2023, Lasten Suuri Lelukirja (the Children’s Great Toybook) has remained the best-known toy catalogue in Finland. The consumers remember the Toybook best by name from memory, by cover image and by name. Over 75% of families with children recognizes the Toybook by cover image!

The study examined the effect of different advertising channels on children’s toy preferences and here are the most significant factors:

1. Toy catalogues
2. Instore advertising
3. Television advertising

The Children’s Great Toybook is the most browsed toy catalogue. Almost 70% of the recipients says, that their children have browsed the Toybook either alone or with a parent to find gift ideas. The families keep the beloved Toybook for a long time. More than 70% of the respondents keep it for a month or longer.

The study examined the recognition of nine toy catalogues published under Christmas. There were 500 respondents to the study. The study was conducted by MPS Enterprises.
